Post-interview Co-Sponsor Question

Hello and sympathies to all , I am on the same shoes as anybody here.

I am petitioned by my USC hubby who just moved back to US recently and has zero US income in the last 3 years

Before the interview, I presented financial docs, I am confident that our income, assets are above the poverty line but considering he has no US income and although he still files the US taxes and becasue his income was earned outside , we need to have a joint or co-sponsor.

So we are required to submit 1-864 of co sponsor and his 2009 US Taxes and out passport.

No other conditions specified.

How long do you think this process will take before we get our visa.

Hello my husband and I are in the same boat. We had our interview and needed a co-sponsor. No one can say for sure how long it will take for you to get your visa. It could be a few weeks after you submit the new affidavit of support or a few months if they decide to do background checks.

I wish you all the best in getting your documents in ASAP.
