Dear All,

My case is that I got married to my American Wife [she is also Egyptian (double citizenship)] from 2.5 years.

my wife data in the marriage certificate is her Egyptian data (like Egyptian ID no.)

I registered the marriage certificate in the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs 2 years ago.

Now, some friend told me that the marriage certificate should be approved & stamped from the US embassy in Cairo before the interview date.

is this really required in case that my wife is Egyptian as well?

Your urgent reply is highly appreciated.

Thank you

Go to the US embassy and try to notarize it , if they did notarize it and your wife's name in her passport and social and all of these documents the same as the Egyptian name , then you can do it , you can even do the DCF .Just make the sure the name is SAME . good luck

Beautiful patience.

to notarize is very difficult in the US embassy,

the in the passport is shorten for the middle name, but it is full in the naturalization certificate...is it good enough?

do I still need this notarization process? because if I have to, then I should postpone the interview.

would you send me your cell, so that I can call u for further details?
