Transferred to California

AOS was transferred to California recently. This a good sign? From what I've seen when it's transferred there usually isn't an interview conducted, am I right about that? Also...does anyone know about how long it takes to receive GC at that point if no problems are found?

It sounds good however there have been a few transferred back to their local office for a interview. Usually a few more weeks until getting the GC. Check my timeline out

My wife's AOS was transferred to CSC this past June 2010 and we are are still waiting for the GC. Goodluck!!

It seems to be a mixed blessing when the AOS is transferred to CSC: On one hand, you likely WON'T require an interview (good deal, less stress and hassle to get the coveted GC, right?) Not such a good deal when weeks and months go by waiting to hear back from DHS/USCIS.

And it seems that no case that originates in Calif is actually transferred to CSC.

So, getting an interview date should actually be seen as a good thing. If your case is legit, plain vanilla, and just needs a "rubber stamp" approval, then that is preferred to a "No interview" process.'

Yes, She received the Advanced Parole and EAD around the end of Aug 2010.
