She is equally as qualified as Obama was to be pres. Actually a bit more cause she was a governor.

So what? Why waste time on someone like her?

You should be interested in policy not personality. That is what's wrong with us politics, noone has the right priorities

LMAO!!!! Are you serious ?

Sarah Palin...attended four different no name colleges in Hawaii, Idaho, and Alaska and finally received her Bachelors degree in communications so that she could be a sports caster for a local Anchorage TV station. Let us not forget that she was "Miss Wasilla" and placed third runner up in the Miss Alaska beauty pageant prior to her college. Move ahead...she goes from writing high school sports reports for the Valley newspaper to city councilman for a small time Alaska town (Wasilla) and later on becomes mayor of said town. She gets elected governor while running against an incumbent who had the lowest approval rating of any Alaskan state governor in our states history. She FAILED BIG TIME at that job and she QUIT. Somewhere in the middle of it she gets chosen by McCain to run with him as his vice president. HA HA HA Let us not forget how she lost her fare share of legal disputes while she was governor for the fact she thought being governor of the state of Alaska made her some kind of god.

Barak Obama...graduate of Columbia University and Harvard Law School, where he was the president of the Harvard Law Review. He worked as a civil rights attorney in Chicago and taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School from 1992 to 2004. Obama served three terms in the Illinois Senate from 1997 to 2004 and was elected in 2004 to represent the state of Illinois in the US Senate.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

There is no "so what". Sarah Palin is as qualified to be president of the US as Mickey Mouse...no disrespect for Mickey intended).

Sarah Palin has ZERO qualifications in regards to running this country. She is a housewife who found some fame through luck. She's about as bright as a broken light bulb.

I've never seen a thinner resume in my life for a presidential candidate! Where's his political experience, where is his business experience? What business or city/state did he turn around before becoming president during the worst economy in 50 years?

India, gun buyback and steamroll.

Ask the 65% of Alaskans that still approved of her when she quit whether she failed them and you'll get a rather different answer.

I agree, though, that she would not be a good candidate for President. Same went for McCain, same for Obama, same for Biden. Neither team struck me as the type of President/Vice President pairing this country needed. Mind you, I could only be proven right in one instance. I dread to think what state we'd be in if the country had gone with Option 2.

Don't interrupt me when I'm talking to myself

Do you have a link ?

Most Alaskans like myself voted for Sarah when she ran for governor. It was after her election when she gave a Canadian firm $500,000,000.00 of Alaska's tax money to begin studies on a gas pipe line from the North Slope to the lower 48 via Canada that we started to learn what Sarah was all about...especially seeing how Anchorage and surrounding area's are starting to run very low on natural gas. This was before Sarah tried to get her brother in law fired from the Alaska State troopers by using her political clout as governor in regards to a domestic matter.

Some of the comments are so over the top by The Desperate, around here, I am forced into the position of calling you on it. (Though it is a little fun)

Listen to what you are saying here, a simple house wife.. who just stumbled into fame via a little luck.

What does that tell us about Joe Biden then... a guy who has spent 30 sum years in politics and when he went -toe to toe with Palin in a national debate...... the best he could do was a, draw.

Think about that...... a guy who has been dealing with all these national issues for 30 years and he was nearly out matched by a "house wife" as you put it.

Q: Who would have been a more formable candidate against Palin since "he" couldn't get the Job done?

For some reason there is Palin-phobia going on among many on the left, it seems the more you discount her.... the more success she has.

Many of us on the Right, are concerned you guys are inadvertently building her up beyond her natural rise.

The thing is: you are making yourself look foolish with these weekly forecasts of her doomed career but oddly enough it is not helping us either.

For both our sakes... give it a rest.

Sarah Palins support goes to show that the dumbing down of America has reached a critical stage...well that and the election of George Bush. I put Sarah right up there with the likes of reality TV shows, professional wrestling, bass fishing shows, hunting fenced in deer with high powered rifles, NASCAR, and indoor tractor pulls sponsored by Budweiser beer.

I'm sure if I wave the American flag around like I just discovered it for the first time, praised the lord, told gun nuts that I would hand out a free box of ammo to every brainwashed redneck in the US if they voted for me...that I to would have a chance of becoming the next political choice for the tea baggers.

When the majority of tea baggers can actually find country's like Iraq and/or Afghanistan on a globe than I just might begin to worry....

You are doing it again.

And you never offered up which "real" candidate would have beat Palin in that debate?

Sarah Palin's interest in the presidency is not being reciprocated by most Americans: Two-thirds of registered voters in a new ABC News/Washington Post poll say she's unqualified for the job.

...

Palin appears to have gained little luster from the success of the Tea Party political movement with which she'd aligned: Just 39 percent of registered voters see her favorably, the most basic measure of a public figure's popularity.

...

Even fewer, just 27 percent, see her as qualified for the presidency, also essentially unchanged. Sixty-seven percent say she's not qualified.

Who cares. She's Hot!
