That's exactly what I did. I called 12 doctors in the Denver metro and none of them would do it. It was ridiculously frustrating! Nobody knew what I was talking about, and nobody wanted to listed. I got comments ranging from "a foreign medical is not valid for AOS" to "There is no such thing as a K-1 visa" I even got a quote from one doctor who wanted to redo my medical and charge $850.00.

This is very interesting. I was under the assumption that we (the beneficiary) are supposed to keep the brown medical results envelope when doing POE. I POE'd at the beginning of September, and I am just now getting ready to file for my AOS and I too only have the "Vaccination Documentation Medical Worksheet Two" from Dr Sieden's office in Toronto. When I POE'd, the border officers told me that they were required to mail my brown medical results envelope to the USCIS office in Denver, CO.

I will only be sending in a copy of this "Vaccination Documentation" sheet, and will be praying that Denver received my medical results. Hugglebuggles, sounds like I'm in the same position you were in! And Arabella, sorry your medical was lost, what a pain!

You still may have to get the worksheet transcribed by a CS. I guess it depends on whether or not you get an interview.

Can you elaborate? My wife has an interview date and we only sent in the worksheet and did not get any RFEs. I have no plans to get them transcribed before her interview.

I included the worksheet I got at the medical at Toronto for me and my 3 children. Never got an RFE and went through the interview and was never asked. Personally with 4 of us needing it transcribed it was going to cost us a fortune. I rebelled after the hundreds and hundreds I spent on medicals and passport photos.....

It worked out fine for me and I saved some $$$. If the AOS was delayed and I had got an RFE it really wouldn't have made a difference to me.

Geez! Some things don't come easy for me! I actually heard about a doctor up on the north side of the metro who does it for $10.00 after I had already had the interview and finished the process. It wasn't one of the doctors I called when I was looking, so I guess I just didn't call enough people. I lived in Littleton at the time, so I was focusing on doctors in the southern part of town. Glad you were able to find someone easier than I was!

With your interview notice, there is a checklist with documents you are required to bring to the interview. You will notice that the I-693 is on the list. There have been many people who were asked for the I-693 at the interview. However, some of us were not, including me. If you chose not to have the I-693 transcribed, there is a chance you will be issued an RFE at the interview and the GC will not be approved until they receive it.
