Hello there to Everyone here in VJ. I have a big concern on obtaining my japan police clearance, I know what to do already on how to get it.We've already got our MNL case number when my husband called at the NVC. But the problem is obtaining a JAPAN POLICE CLEARANCE is you need to get a letter from USEM Manila. Can I just bring my NOA2 and the MNL case number and photocopy of my husband passport just to enter the USEM? I know they need to see the appointment letter but I will not have that Appointment yet till the NVC is complete. Can I go with NOA2 and MNLCase# only?

So, i hope somebody here doing their CR1 and starting to get their Jpan police clearance can help me what to do. So I could start going to USEM to get a letter for my Japan police clearance. THank you and GOD bless us ALL...

I HAVE THE SAME EXACT PROBLEM. I HOPE SOMEBODY CAN SHED SOME LIGHT ON THIS :help:

Did you guys stayed in Japan more than 6 months? I am on K1 and I have read one of requirements in USEM that applicant aged 16 years and older must also present police certificates from other countries which they have lived for six months or more after reaching the age 16.

thank you so much godsgift...Yeah, finally GOD answered our prayers, though its not over yet we know things will be fine in the END. at least we've got the main thing! Just now having PROBLEM with the police clearance.. Though I know how to get it because I already done it before when I did my first petition as a K1. But this CR1 is different process, after NOA2 for K1 its easy to get a PCC but in CR1 you have to finish the NVC steps first then that would be the time they will give you the Appointment Letter..Supposed to be I need that before the Interview but HOW can I go to USEM to get a letter for PCC if I dont have yet the Appointment letter...And yes, I have MNL# and NOA2 copy but i dont know if they allow me to get inside without the interview schedule yet since I have to finish the NVC steps first. But in GODs grace I know everything will be fine...
