they suck you back in again!

The Good News: The Green Card arrived today

The Bad News: Under "sex" my fiancee is now a "M". Imagine our daughters dismay when she learns her mom is really a man.

Anyone have any experience returning a Green Card due to a typo. I did not recognize until after 6pm and U.S.C.I.S. was already closed for the day. I will call promptly tomorrow and hopefully this can be corrected in a timely fashion. I certainly don't want another form and another fee and a medical examination for a fee just to prove she is indeed a female.

Form I-90.

Have a look at this thread: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=138

If this arrived incorrect to you it is an administrative error and there is no fee to be submitted (make sure you check that box on the form...).

Otherwise, that thread will give you some ideas of the timeframes.

Thank you so much for the link. I cannot believe that this process is still ongoing. I would love to have a private conversation with the person who screwed up. I thought I had a two year break from this circus but it looks like I'm starting the second act.
