Do I need 2 additional pictures for each application accompanying my wife's I-485 (EAD and AP application)? How about any additional copies of things that I am already including for the I-485? Another copy of I-94? Additional copy of visa, passport or birth certificate? How about an additional G-1145 for e-notifications for each application?

Yes, include what the application asks for. They aren't going to keep your three separate cases together so they need the information for each individual set of paperwork to be able to adjucate.

One member (could be more) didn't bother with the additional copies and had no problems.

I sent multiples because honestly, photocopying doesn't kill me. I would prefer to send what each application requires, rather than "hope" that the person who's doing it knows it's with the AOS file (because as others stated, the files get separated). USCIS are notorious for not seeing what's already there (medicals especially) and I loathe to give them a chance to RFE when photocopying is so easy.

Up to you though honestly. You certainly wouldn't be denied.

Yeah, I guess I'm that "one member".

I'm not going to buck the tide on this because it doesn't hurt to submit extra supporting documents. It's possible I was incredibly lucky, and got approved for AP, EAD, and AOS (for three people) without any RFE's by submitting only what was listed in the VJ AOS guide.

12/15/2009 - K1 Visa Interview - APPROVED!

12/29/2009 - Married in Oakland, CA!

08/18/2010 - AOS Interview - APPROVED!

05/01/2013 - Removal of Conditions - APPROVED!

Clicking the links for each one lists more requirements (or it did a year ago when we did it). I agree, the "extra" stuff isn't on the main front page checklist.

K-1:

January 28, 2009: NOA1

June 4, 2009: Interview - APPROVED!!!

October 11, 2009: Wedding

AOS:

December 23, 2009: NOA1!

January 22, 2010: Bogus RFE corrected through congressional inquiry "EAD waiting on biometrics only" Read about it here.

March 15, 2010: AOS interview - RFE for I-693 vaccination supplement - CS signed part 6!

March 27, 2010: Green Card recieved

ROC:

March 1, 2012: Mailed ROC package

March 7, 2012: Tracking says "notice left"...after a phone call to post office.

More detailed time line in profile.

No, there are primarily only links for each form, which either take you to the USCIS page for the form, or to the VJ page which lists the forms, and subsequently takes you to the USCIS page. There are also links for things like the specifications for a passport style photo, a list of the required vaccinations, the poverty guidelines, etc.

I was talking mainly about documents and evidence that are specifically listed in the guide. That list says two passport photos, a copy of the birth certificate (plus translation, if needed), a copy of the I-94 (front and back), a copy of the relevant passport pages (bio page, entry stamps, visa), etc. Nowhere does it say multiple copies of any of these "evidence" documents for each application, though each application form is also in the list. I sent exactly what was in that list - no extra copies. I didn't get any RFE's, and everything was approved.

The general consensus seems to be that you should include the extra copies. I'm not going to go against that consensus and say it's not necessary. It certainly doesn't hurt to send extra documents.
