It's kind of ironic using this term to describe a good thing. Usually I read comments saying "Fail" or "epic fail" which implies a bad thing or a slam against something.

Anyway, I just went and checked to see if I could sign into my payment portal and was successful. A bad sign

What is financial evidence? I sent IV package on Nov 25. They reveiced and put in computer on Dec. 8. I sent AOS package on Dec14. And AVR say Im missing Financial evidence. Is that Aos package? Or something in IV package?

Hi Aidenaileen,

On my Checklist email they had the wording "Financial Evidence" and included the wording "Affidavit of Support" in the sections.

So assuming yours is the same language then they are stating the same thing as for our (my wife and I) case.

Now just to let you know I sent the AOS documents (for a electronic processing case) on 11/19, 12/09, and 12/16 becuase the AVR system, the operators and the checklist email said they were missing the Financial Evidence (AOS). So your not the only one that this has happend to.

My hubby called DOS tonight, they didn't schedule my interview date, and told him let's wait untill 1, Jun then call them again, oh, I don't wanna wait so long time, I really hope I can interview in JAN!

Had to request to be transferred to a NVC supervisor because the NVC changed my wife's birth date within the past week and had to get that corrected!

Once that was resolved, discussed the next steps at NVC.

Final review takes 2 hours, but wait for up to 72 hours, then case complete.

For electronic processed files, NVC schedules interviews not Guangzhou. Scheduling happens the second week of the month. So it looks like scheduling will happen in January and interview in February.

hey im novemebr nvc too!, so i sent in the ds 230..and guess what i forgot the damn photocopies of everything! geeez u think the $404 we have to pay would cover copies roght? so what do u think...rejection..approval...help me out!

I sent the DS 230 and 864 package all at one time, but I forgot the photos. The next day I copied another cover letter with the bar code, case number, etc, and sent the photos in. If you make photocopies of everything, just add another cover letter with the case number, barcode, etc. and send in, you should be fine.

According Vjer's Timeline you should get SIF/CC by friday if NVC doesn't issue any RFE further. :thumbs:
