Just received notice on the email I sent (dated 11/19) to the regular NVC inquiry addy that our COA was accepted...I had re-sent it to PI Supervisor Sue on 11/23 and got a response from that the next day :rofl:

Wondering had I waited on a response from the 11/19 email I would just now be getting a response :wow:

Thanks for the link. From what I read It is not applicable to my situation. For those who will soon be having their interview make sure you have everything at the interview or your case can be ridiculously delayed. This was posted on the website regarding need for additional information from applicant. Seems like an excessive amount of time to me after waiting 9+ months already. Here it is.

Some visa applications require further administrative processing, which takes additional time after the visa applicant’s interview by a Consular Officer. Applicants are advised of this requirement at their interview. Most administrative processing is resolved within 60 days of the visa interview. When administrative processing is required, the timing will vary based on individual circumstances of each case. Visa applicants are reminded to apply early for their visa, well in advance of the anticipated travel date.

Important Notice: Before making inquiries about status of administrative processing, applicants or their representatives will need to wait at least 60 days from the date of interview or submission of supplemental documents, whichever is later. Please be patient. The call center will contact you (at the phone number or e-mail we verified with you during your interview) as soon as this processing has been completed.

- NVC Forwards Case to Embassy, Manila

- Waiting Medical completed 10/27/10

- Interview Date 11/3/10 Wife didn't have NSO Marriage Certificate, No Approval OMG!!!

- NSO Certificate received by Embassy on 11/5/2010

- Informed by call center. Cost $18 Information received- we need to wait 6-8 weeks from Nov 5th FUBAR.

- VISA APPROVED 12/15/2010

- Wife arrived in US Feb 2, 2011... :)
