It's not an RFE...NVC just created and sent you your IV instruction package which you have just sent.

I would suggest to keep calling. I think their closed tomorrow due to Veterans Day so Friday would be your best bet. I have called them twice and got the busy signal at least thirty times before the phone rang. Then had to wait about half hour until I was able to actually speak with someone. I was able to get my Invoice Identification Number from them also. Don't stop trying. Things are moving fast now...

I got a question myself. I used the template for the DS-3032 and filled it out. I then sent it to my wife and had her forward it to the NVC email. Do you think that that's ok that it's a forward email and not original? Thanks. Things are speeding up.

It should be fine and she should have been the one in reality sending it. That is what I did. I am curious as to why she forwarded it when She could have just Cut and Pasted it and sent it as her own... :bonk: But you know the answer don't you. Its a good lesson for us also to always remember our spouses don't always think critically and might need better direction from us when we ask them to do things. Don't take it for granted that they know or think the same way we do. I know I have had a few Awe Shucks, you did what?, moments.

Thank you so much! LADYDARE.

Could you do me a favor? I don't know how to choose my agent, because my husband lives in China with me, should I fill his name and fill his American address or choose his mother as my agent(his mother lives in America) directly? I have no idea, does the agent impact bill filling? Hope you could give me some advice.

Thanks.

I think you take his name and his address. Do he stay there more than 6 months? If not. That will be fine.

Thanks.

You local IRS office is at 500 N. Capitol St. NW, Washington, DC 20221. It's probably closed today.

Yes. As the peititioner, you have to file I864. And your co-sponsor has to file I864 also since he doesn't live in the same address. Read the I864 instruction set to get a sense of what you need to include. I posted a response to you earlier, Peruse that.

When you called to get your case number you should have given them both of your email addresses and also asked for your Invoice Identification number. I did not have any luck with the DS-3032 until I received the email for it. After receiving the email I sent the electronic template and got it approved right away. We used my wife's email account to send it in.
