Why NVC's number is busy all the time?

I keep redialing, but I can't get thru.

Keep redailing non stop and you will surely get thru..best time are usually in the am or just before lunch.

I called this morning around 7:00 and got through (good news). Our case still hasn't been received at NVC (bad news).

I have a mac too....is there a problem with using mac to pay the bills??

Yes it is. I rêcived the invoice on last friday. But I have trying almost 100 times to get the word PAID on the website. I found last night and let my husband paid from oversea by my account from US bank.

This is one of the worst parts of the NVC process...redial, redial, redial.

so I found that when calling nvc, you push 1 (the haiti option), and you will get a human almost right away....and they don't even ask you about haiti, they just ask you for case number... :lol: So I have been using this option....am I bad?? :P

I had my wife sign both ds230 and choice of agent last time I visited her. We just got into NVC my AOS got invoiced today, planning to physically mail in the choice of agent but its dated for July. Would that be ok ? Can they raise an issue that the case number just because available and how come this person signed a form back in July ? Should I have her print and scan me another copy ? Plz reply

You can send in the electronic version of the DS-3032. NVC accepts them with no issues. The format can be found in VJwiki.

Emailed DS-3032 to NVC this morning. I used Loto's suggestion of "Attn: PI Supervisor Sue, NVC case #, Beneficiary name, DOB" in the subject.

Just received an automated response from NVC:

"Dear Sir/Madam:

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).

This petition is now eligible for further processing. The petitioner, beneficiary, and/or attorney of record will receive further instructions regarding the processing of this petition.

The NVC has updated the mailing/email address. Please continue to notify the NVC of any change of mailing/email address, or change in personal situation, which may affect the beneficiary's entitlement to a visa.

If a period of one year passes from the last date of contact with the NVC (by email, telephone or mail), all submitted fees and documents will expire. In that case, your fees will need to be repaid and documents will need to be resubmitted in order to continue the immigration process."

So, if you're not getting a response using "Attn: Supervisor Sue"...I recommend Loto's suggestion of using "Attn: PI Supervisor Sue" in the subject line. It worked in my case.

I got NOA2 approved on 11/05/2010, but I did not get the hardcopy yet. I been calling NVC automated system entering NOA1 receipt number and it says it is not in the system.

Does NOA2 receipt number will be the same as NOA1 receipt number?

Yes, the receipt number are the same.

Also wait for a few more days & then start calling to get your case & IIN #s.

I noticed you also mailed in the hard copy, which obviously you had your spouse signed. What date did you have on it ? I have the hard copy all filled out but its dated July, wondering if I should send it or not.

My AOS is bill got invoiced, does that mean that the package has been sent to the benificiary ?

Yeah, I wanted to make sure NVC received the DS-3032. I suppose I have OCD.

My wife signed the DS-3032, on behalf of her minor child. It was signed and dated on 11/05/10.

Some say no need to mail the DS-3032 hard copy, some mail it in anyway for their reassurance. I tend to do the latter.

Having your AOS bill invoiced means that NVC accepted your payment as well as the DS-3032, IIRC. The petitioner would then need to send NVC the AOS package.
