Hi...question...

So my fiance made a mistake and sent the DS230, 156, 156K...all those forms to the consulate and not the signed checklist.

She is going to send the checklist tomorrow separate.

Any possiblity this will be a problem?

Ahh...wish I could be there to oversee all this!!!!! ;)

On a separate note, can she schedule her medical for anytime, even though she doesnt have the interview date yet? For example...if she were able to get an appointment next week...is that ok? Or does she need to wait for Packet 4?

Ah...its so confusing for me because I am not there to see the forms and she seems to be infinitely confused on her own...trying to walk her through this without error....

Sent in I-129F..................March 17th

NOA1 from CSC................March22

RFE recieved....................June 28th

RFE returned....................June 29th

RFE receipt by CSC ...........July 5th

Touched..........................July 26th

Touhced..........................July 27th

NOA2.............................July 31st...after 132 days!!!!!!!!!!!!

Packet 3 sent...................August 22nd

Medical...........................September 9th

Interview........................October 4th!!!!!!!

She should be fine sending the form in.

Yes she can go ahead and schedule the medical all she needs is the case number. Only have seen one person who was given the run around when trying to make the appointment earlier, he was eventually able to schedule it. Best of luck!

That's the reason I sent David 2 copies of each of the blank forms, and all of the filled-in example copies from VJ so he could sit down and practice with the blank forms before the packet came. When the packet came Saturday, he was ready to go.

They may return the packet to her for it being incomplete.... you might want to phone them.

I understand that the medical is good for 1 year, so she should have it done whenever she can.

Does she already have her police certificate? That takes the longest.... they told us 40 days, and we received it in 39....

We have already applied for the police...the 40 days would get it to us on September 14th (3 weeks)...so we should be safe on that.

She is sending the checklist back separately tomorrow am...so they two deliveries should be only a day apart. I'll have her write an email to the consulate though just to give them a heads up perhaps so they dont send anything back.

Just to be sure...she WAS suppose to send back the DS 230, 156, all that right? But should have included the checklist as well? Thats basically the only Packet 3 thing she had left after mailing it!

Ahh....and i TOLD her that the checklist had to be signed and sent back!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, all of the forms go back. For Frankfurt, we were instructed to keep all of the supporting documentation, evidence, etc. until the interview. You sent her your I-134 which she included with all of that supporting documentation, right?

She made copies of everything, right?? ;)

Yeah...we have copies of all the forms (DS230, the 156's)

And I'll be sending my I-134, and copy of petition, all evidence etc.

So I think we are good.

As long as they can link up the first batch with the checklist sent separately...ahhhhh!!!!

But only a day apart so hopefully wont be a problem.

Anyone have any suggestions on BEST contact for UK embasssy?

The site here says email is best, and I have : LondonConsulate@state.gov for an addy.

I would like my fiance to contact them to ensure the two mailings meet up....

Frankfurt requested ours to be sent with the other forms... the supporting docs for the other form(s) (forget which one now) is what's taken to the interview.

Email is the best way to contact them, do not waste your money on the operated assitance line. You can start to call DOS to see if and when they give you an interview date that number is 202-663-1225 from the states then you can promptly press 1, 1, 0 to get through to an operator. Keep in mind that hold time is up to 25 minutes sometimes.

You are right... sorry. I misunderstood David. The I-134 is to be brought to the interview.
