no just mean we grew rhubarb at my parents house and it was always growing.. we tried to dig it up and it would never go away.

As for container gardening it, I don't see why not. Large enough tub and taking care of it should work just fine. I did tons of container indoor gardening before moving.

I've tried farmers markets but with no luck...I didn't try ALL of them but enough to make me hopeless...

funnily enough I bought some the other day and made a rhubarb cobbler...mmm...try your local Farmer's MArket or equivalent. That's where I found mine and it was something like $2.29 a pound.

I was lookin at the rhubarb here in the grocery store the other day, and asked hubby if he'd like a rhubarb pie. He said he wouldn't know, he's never had rhubarb before Poor kid.

I've given up trying to make pastry from scratch here. The flour doesn't respond like I expect (I've been making pie crusts since I was 9).

I bought a mix where you add the water. If that fails, I'm bringing good old Robin Hood flour back with me in early September.

i haven't found rhubarb here where I live either .... Hubby had never heard of rhubarb ...

My mom has this fantastic, family, favourite recipe for rhubarb.... Rhubarb Merengue Cake.... YUM!! YUM!!!!
