Desperately seeking rhubarb

This thread might flop but even if I could get ONE response on where to find rhubarb in chicago it will be worth it. I have been having mad cravings for some and I can't find it ANYWHERE. The only place I came close was online at peapod.com but you have to order 50 dollars worth of stuff and pay for delivery and all that and while I think it's a good investment, hubby doesn't think I can consume 50 bucks worth of rhubarb.

then when you do get some, can you can/preserve some of it? you know, like pickles.

the stuff on there isn't always on sale and we usually shop with coupon at inexpensive places and we look for bargains. So while that idea popped into my head I just can't see myself spending 40 bucks every time I was rhubarb.

Oh man I wish I was in Afghanistan again...I was living it up in May eating all that rhubarb...yummmmyyy...

We have one growing in our backyard.

Doesnt take talent to grow rhubarb either.. very easy and will never go away
