What does it mean? This is NVC's reply when I sent request to expedite our case.

Dear Sir/Madam:

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC). The

NVC has completed its processing of the visa petition you mentioned in

your letter and has forwarded the petition to the assigned US

Embassy/Consulate General for further processing.

Please be advised that further forms and/or fees may still be requested

by the US Embassy/Consulate to complete the processing of this case. Any

further inquiries should be directed to the assigned US Embassy or

Consulate General.

I have a question, what is this ?

"10-27-2010 service request submitted for expedite (hardship)" - is this a new form? besides I-130?

I've heard they've changed the way they process green carder's spouse visas and they expedite it. is this the one?

please explain more about this. Thank you :)

Hi. What do you mean by 'expedite case'. How long will it tkae then for your spouse to get the visa? I read that you just filed your I-130 petition, when do you think you'll get the visa? Thanks

There is a list of reasons that you can ask for an expedite, they involve imminent deployment of USC spouse, severe medical conditions and hardships. It is very very hard to get an expedite approved. You will be asked to submit proof of whatever condition you are claiming.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
