My Japanese Spouse is having trouble getting approval for a credit Card any suggestions?

It took me awhile to figure out that adding my husband onto some of my cards would help him gain a credit score, but we have finally done that. We have also bought a mattress together. Also, there are secured credit cards through Wells Fargo, Bank of America, US Bank and others. Check with the bank or credit union you use to see if they have any options for you.

Good credit takes time, good luck!!

Our VisaJourney started July 2009 when I mailed the 129-F

Fiance here February 2010, married 10 days later

GC received in the mail 10-Jun-2010

Able to apply to remove conditions 12-Feb-2012

BABY GIRL BORN JULY 2011!!!

Thank You for the reply.

My Credit is pretty good low 700's, We just can't seem to get my Japanese Spouse approved for credit cards. Your suggestions are good. We will go to her bank and ask for a secured Credit Card.

My wife did repeat filings for Capitol One and they came thru with a limited card. She used it and paid it off monthly.

6 months later she was getting pre approved cards from lots of companies!

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!
