All,

I'm just wondering if there are any other good reasons beside Medical, Financial hardship etc. to ask NVC to expedite your case?

Has anyone tried anything and did it work?

Thanks,

The USEM approves expedites at the NVC level not the NVC. I would not try it unless you are sure you have a legitimate reason as the request will be sent the USEM.

If you are an active-duty, military personal, you can get your case expedited. But really compared to USCIS, NVC only takes a month or so, if you follow the guides on VJourney. It seems more hassle to expedite at NVC stage than to have all your goose in a row. Loto, went through the NVC stage in 18 days.

Hopefully, I'll go through just as fast if not just a little slower. I'm on day 13 now. I have only one thing to submit to NVC now. DS230. From than on, it's all out of my hand.

N400 CITIZENSHIP STAGE

23-DEC-2016 -:- N400 form mailed to Dallas, TX Lockbox (USPS EXPRESS)

27-DEC-2016 -:- N400 form delivered/picked up by USCIS

01-JAN-2017 -:- N400 form fee check cashed by USCIS

04-JAN-2017 -:- N400 form received per NOA1

09-JAN-2017 -:- N400 form NOA1 notice date

14-JAN-2017 -:- N400 form NOA1 on hand through USPS

30-JAN-2017 -:- N400 fingerprint taken

01-FEB-2017 -:- N400 interview schedule process started

26-JUL-2017 -:- N400 interview date set (01SEP2017)

29-JUL-2017 -:- N400 interview letter on hand

01-SEP-2017 -:- N400 interview date - Interview passed

10-OCT-2017-:- N400 oath ceremony letter on hand (oath on 26OCT2017)

Loto, went through the NVC stage in 18 days.

I'm on day 13 now.

I'm on Day 23 and counting and that does not include the time from USCIS-->NVC and then NVC to generate case #. My Counter starts from the day I Paid AOS bill.
