Oh my gosh, I am so sorry........I have been reading your posts for a while. Why would they deny you just based on the paperwork? Will they tell you so you know what to fix, if you're going to appeal? I can only imagine what you are going through. My thoughts and prayers are with you that you will be able to appeal and have a different outcome........

I too, like you, sent a file with all the evidence possible. We wanted to send enough (including tons of chats, pictures, etc.) to give them a good view of our relationship. I hope that won't kill us in the end. We thought we did what was right. Like you said, how can it hurt you?

Don't lose hope, you might be able to turn it around. So sorry :(

No. That's the same sort of logic here. There's a very clear and concise appeal process that Loto has linked you to and you will receive that as well in few days' time. Follow that. Its politics not more....forget about proving relationship and all that #######....they were playing with me all the time and i told my wife about it...they just want me to despair and leave my wife...they don't know that i live with her or die without her...i told her that they are going to keep us so long and when they did i told her that they gotta find another reason to keep it longer and they said background checks and then some more longer...RFE then i told her that they will deny us to see if iam gonna despair or not..but i think they won. but i still wont leave my wife...i will show them what am gonna do.

Beautiful patience.

Sorry about your denial. There was obviously something they wanted via the RFE that was not given to them initially. Despite what speculation we might have about too much evidence, it appears they were short of evidence about something.

Just be ready to be on the horn to your lawyer first thing in the morning mate.

We used a so called immigration specialist. He didnt know his ####### from his elbow and we got an rfe. I think sometimes lawyers and these others are just wanting money and not providing a good quality service. get an exact breakdown and cost analisys as to what your lawyer did. Did he do the whole thing for you - or was it a joint operation?

Whatever you do, don't use Borat's Thrifty Immigration Services or the likes. You want to find a immigration laywer from http://www.aila.org Read your lawyer's yelp.com reviews and Angie's List review before hiring him/her.

But I don't get that. The person that takes "all the time" and spends "all the money" (copies of chats, emails, pics, etc) putting together a "thorough" file should show them that they are serious about their relationship. In my opinion, it was better to send everything in the beginning rather than chance an RFE (not saying we still might not get one) for evidence that was lacking. That was the way we looked at it anyway.

That might be true for 99% of the people but there will always be that 1% who are trying to defraud America. And they are going to provide meticulous "proofs."
