The real question is: Do you really want uniformed and unmotivated people to vote? I like the days when all businesses closed on election day, you all showed up to vote at the same place and time in your respective precinct, and the bars didn't reopen until after the counting was done.

I believe in universal suffrage, so yeah, that means the uninformed, unmotivated, unintelligent have as much right as you or I to cast a ballot. Ideally, all voters would be making informed decisions at the ballot box, but that's pretty impossible.
