Thanks Kathryn!

I had a deep tissue massage today and it was VERY painful but I had some relief after. My doctor said I need to keep moving it as much as possible even if it hurts. Having another massage on Wednesday.

Yeah, moving and stretching is also good - but don't force it too far into the pain because it can actually make it worse rather than better. Just into the pain with the stretches and keep working on the range of motion while trying the trigger points will help. Do keep using the arm as much as you can though as that will limit the ultimate 'frozen' effect and means you will have less range of motion in need of recovery. Massages definitely help. I was in physio twice a week with it.

I hope it goes away really fast. I know it can last up to two years but I can't take two years of this! Thanks for the tips.

I started cooking and realized I don't have cornstarch. That is the one disadvantage of having more than one kitchen in my house. I didn't buy cornstarch because I thought there was some in the other kitchen. I'm too lazy to make a roux. Too lazy to clean another pan if I had to make a roux. AND too lazy to go buy cornstarch.
