The thing is, my 86 yo mother and 55 yo sister have had surgeries on their backs because of horrible back pain. I'm wondering if I'm next in line as it could be an inherited thing. :help:

Last summer I had a bone density test and the Doc said my discs are showing wear and I passed it off as just age.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

IMO, milk is for baby cows.

Milk is a gift from God...and good for bones

Sigh. If only the cows were treated humanely, but that is not the case. They are forced to produce milk and that is not natural by any means. I'am sure our L-rd cries when He see's His creation misused and abused. Strictly my own opinion, of course.

I'm way too old and lazy to even think about standing in the line for hours...just to save $50 or something

Blessings,

M

As we got in line I told my friend "if it wasn't for those damn kids I would sit all of this down right now and leave". I don't want a deal bad enough to deal with all those people. I'd rather pay a bit more and go to sleep!

My doc did give me a script for vitamin D, but those darn pills are huge and they get stuck in my throat. I wonder if it comes in liquid .

More on the subject of animal suffering. Gumby came into the room and saw me weeping. Well, how can I tell him it is because of this ? He will never understand.

Yep...good alternative +1

I remember reading Ghandi's autobiography many years ago and he also had a problem with taking milk...cuz of his vegetarian beliefs. However, he finally realized this was not appropriate and in his elder years did start taking milk. I always found that interesting...for some reason.

yup! I need to go to the store and get some ribbon for the smallish tree that goes on the front porch. I kept it in my bedroom last night because I wasn't finished decorating it. I also need to bake some more cookies. I have all the dough made so it's just a scoop or slice and bake thing I have to do. plus I have this coupon for hallmark. $5 off a $5 purchase and I need to grab a few cards anyways so I thought I should use it. I never remember to use those things
