my wife wants to do all the shopping tomorrow ...i asked her 4 days ago to go .... to be prepared and relax since her mom will be here ...

i decided to say ... whatever ...

the shelves are already empty ... and i have a private stash...

she can go from store-to-store tomorrow ... and fail.

i will not fail .....

:lol:

shopping for food the day before thanksgiving is a death wish. I like to stay away from the grocery store from now until january.

It's just crazy and all the sale items are all picked over.

Sorry for disappearing! I was in Ann Arbor, MI for the weekend visiting my fiance. On the way there I blew a tire on the freeway and today I just found out I didn't get the job that was my back-up plan in case I couldn't find any other job. Someone hold me.

...not getting the other job will leave you free for getting a job at the UofM :thumbs:

Howdy Commiesunity!

Wish me luck...I start to paint our home gym room today... :unsure: Its big, with vaulted ceilings...and my ladder isn't high enough. So, today I'll paint some of it and then paint the high parts when I have a taller ladder. AAm picked out the color...kind of a pale greenish glow :unsure: ...but she likes it so I'll do it :thumbs:

The paint color is 'Soothing Aloe'...AAm said a home gym room should not look 'Hot'...plus, I sunburn easily soooosooothing aloe might be alright :lol:

Hey BrotherNatty...bit off topic...but how did your recent 'convention/sales meeting' go...and what about the evening festivities? :devil:

the presentations went very well. lots of good info presented. i needed to adjust my presentation as others before me were stealing my info and i didn't want to repeat.

i gave them what they needed ... not lots of pie-in-the-sky info.

Eat Pray Love book > Eat Pray Love movie

Ugh, really? I read the book very recently, thought about watching the movie. I guess I'm not surprised, movie adaptations are rarely better than the book. Case in point: The Time Traveler's Wife. The book is amazing but the movie was terrible. I waited more than a year to see the movie and then it was a complete disappointment.

I'm just outside of Dearborn, BTW.

Oh cool. I'm going to Dearborn tomorrow for Thanksgiving buffet or some deal at some hotel. The Hawthorn Valley Country Club, I just looked at the email.

I'm a long ways away from having permission to work in the US, our petition just got approved. But I would love to work at the university once I can!! :)
