lights on tree and decorations going on tomorrow. then the turkey day prep begins. lots of stuff to do when you are volunteered to host thanksgiving without even knowing about it. I got a call earlier asking if I would make sweet potatoes too. I've never made that sweet potato thing with marshmallows on it?

I never made that, either. I don't think I want to learn. I just cook them, mash 'em up and put butter and a little brown sugar on them.

my SIL makes sweet potato with pineapple and brown sugar etc.. I have never tried it because I am not really a sweet potato fan and hers always looks so mushy and unappealing.. ...

I'd stay away from that too! This is the one I'm going to make http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/Brown-Sugar-Glazed-Sweet-Potatoes-with-Marshmallows-813 I told my aunt I would make mashed sweet potatoes and she said I'm already making mashed potatoes so I should make the one with marshmallows. Everyone is bringing stuff too but they know I will make whatever they ask for too.

to me sweet potato and pineapple sounds like weird combo..

btw...can I take the covers off all my couch pillows and wash them without messing them up? I've never done it before so I have no clue.

i suppose that depends on if the pillows have zippers or not. :hehe:
