"We" never celebrated Squanto Day before. Gumby was curious what November 27th is, so i told him the real story. No, I do not like the holocaust/slaughter, but have no problem cooking the dead carcass cos I did not witness it's poor, inhumane death. He will stuff his cake hole with dead birds and mammals, but I don't have to answer for that, he does.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

lights on tree and decorations going on tomorrow. then the turkey day prep begins. lots of stuff to do when you are volunteered to host thanksgiving without even knowing about it. I got a call earlier asking if I would make sweet potatoes too. I've never made that sweet potato thing with marshmallows on it?

my SIL makes sweet potato with pineapple and brown sugar etc.. I have never tried it because I am not really a sweet potato fan and hers always looks so mushy and unappealing.. ...

it is something like this... although this recipe doesn't call for brown sugar...
