Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

HAHAHA! I love "without protection" and "transvestite." Too funny.

Minimum wage in Ontario is $10.25, if I get hired at this call centre I get paid $10.50. My bank account is weeping...it's a far cry from what I used to get paid up north. :(

Yeah when I first started working, min wage was $7.45 I think. Not bad but not good. I'm really hoping the federal government interviews me soon. They're taking their time even trying to set up my interview and it's so frustrating. I'm technically still an employee, I'm on LWOP, and they're treating me with near zero respect.

Yeah, it's like I didn't work for you and pay into our union for 3 years to be basically shrugged off.

Long story short, last month they told me they were hiring for the ONLY position in my city that is my classification (the department I work for is very small here). I said okay, please consider me. 2 weeks later I hadn't heard anything so I called and asked what was happening with it, I was told by HR that the manager here was on holidays and would be back November 1 and she'd call shortly after and schedule an interview. November 8th I called and asked what was happening, she told me she'd forgotten about me, would call the manager here, and get back to me. Sooo today she still hadn't called, so I called her and she said, "Honestly, I haven't tried to contact the manager there, I've been busy." I said, "When can I expect to hear from you again?" She says, "I don't know, I don't know when I'm going to call her."

Wow...thank youuu for nothing!

At least my shorts stayed on, I'm sure that all the ladies here appreciate that. Nothing like showing your shortcomings in public.

Bishop - just wanted to tell you I'm watching Christmas Vacation for the first time this year. I think I will need to watch it 3-5 more times before Christmas :P

eta: I just read this again and I want to clarify it's not the first time ever just the first time in 2010

sooooooo...I've been known to be a bit on the clumsy side...I'm not really sure why I thought it would be a good idea to put a super sharp 10" knife blade first into a plastic grocery bag. I put it in and it sliced right through and stuck into the floor
