It was cold! The coldest it ever was up there was -60C/-75F. Normally during the winter, it's a solid -30C/-22F. That's from December-February. The only time the temperature is above freezing is maybe late April, mid-May to late August. You get used to it.

Amby, are you in school?

More reason to stay indoors, JLA. perhaps even more time under the sheets.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

In the winter time for sure...it was only sunny from 9am-1:30pm. Try having the will to do anything when it's almost always night time!

I had a battery blanket and a block heater, so I had to plug the car in every night.

That's my fiance plugging in my Suzuki when he came to visit...he thought it was hilarious.

JLA - I'm in med schoool. This is my first semester.

I feel like a child. I've never went to see any of the Harry Potter films in the theater but I just bought tickets for Friday morning at 10am because I thought it would be a good idea. Who goes to the movies at 10am? Only me

Life is a ticket to the greatest show on earth.

I'm sure Cinc0 will have something to say about the Suzuki.

Someone on my Facebook is going at a 3am show! I've never seen any of them. That'll be fun, though. I bet when you come out of the theatre, you're going to be expecting it to be nighttime, haha.

Med school, neat. How long is the program?

I'm sure Cinc0 will have something to say about the Suzuki.

Hahaha...he makes me proud to be Canadian (among other reasons).

I want to see Harry Potter too but I have no one to go with and i don't like going to the movies by myself..

Well, I sure would go with you if you lived closer. I love to go to the show, but never by myself and really i have no one who would even go with me.

I know what you mean, although I'm not living in Canada...yet. Maybe some day.

In the many many years I've known Neil he has went to the movies with me once. We watched all the other ones together (never watched any at the theater though) and Friday is his birthday so I asked him. I really expected him to say no but he said yes.

I don't mind going to the movies alone. I get annoyed when people I'm with try to talk to me during the movie or make comments during the good/important parts.

Awwwww, how sad.

I went once by myself, way back in the early 80's. I felt really weird.
