john - what exactly have they done or tried to do for your back? what have they said it wrong?

L2 disc has a major problem, is impinging and the solution is not good. need two more good years, will owe nobody...

I have tried just about everything to avoid surgery.

If I had known I would live this long, I would have taken better care of the body :blush:

John, do you have stenosis or are you just looking at a straight herniation of the disc? The L1 or L2 is not that common unless you were injured. QBs get this from getting hammered in the back year after year. I take it that you are a candidate for a decompression laminectomy.
