Friday I went to pick my son up from his dad's. I saw this scratch on his face and thought he fell and scratched himself on something. I asked him what happened and he immediately said this kid in another class hit him with a stick at recess because this other kid didn't like my son. I took a picture of it and emailed it to the principal. My son's always getting into trouble for stuff but nobody ever sees stuff being done to him.

His teacher called this morning to say he talked to my son. He told the teacher that he had accidentally hit himself with the stick. blink.gif

OK, so who's my son lying to - us or the teacher? helpsmilie.gif

I still feel like complete sh*t but I am hoping to go back to school on wednesday or thursday. I go back to the doctor tomorrow to see if I'm doing any better.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

Write (letters or faxes are best) or call Judiciary subcommittee members found here (just click on their districts for contact information). Urgethese subcommittee members to vote yes on H.R. 503, to prevent crueltyto horses used for human consumption. If one of them is yourrepresentative, please let him or her know that.

Also, please call the U.S. Capitol switchboard at202-224-3121 and ask for your U.S. representative. Ask yourrepresentative to contact the Judiciary Committee and push for thepassage of H.R. 503 to prevent cruelty to horses used for humanconsumption. Or fax or email your representative. Click here to find and write your U.S. representative.

WHAT ELSE YOU CAN DO

Also, tell your representative to vote YES on H.R. 305, the Horse Transportation Safety Act, which will put an end to all transports of horses on double decked trailers.
