Are you going to drive there ?

Nope! It's about 1000 miles to drive. I will fly. The flight really isn't long. With layover somewhere it's usually about 3-3.5hrs. Airports make me sleepy.

My friend is out of town so I'm staying in her apt. I'm having all my friends over for an early Thanksgiving party on Saturday night because I promised I would be in town for Thanksgiving this year and then changed my plans when I found out I was hosting my family's Thanksgiving at my house. I will make lots of food, we will play board games (I love games), make fun of each other, get really drunk, and I will fly home with a hangover. Hopefully nothing will be destroyed in my friend's apt in that time cos I think her husband would kill me :lol:

I don't blame you for not driving there. Although, can't you get a straight flight ?

There's only a regional airport where I live so there's only flights from here to places like Detroit, Cincinnati, Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas, Memphis, and I think Indianapolis and St Louis. To go to NYC I have to go to Chicago, Detroit (that's where I usually go), or Cincinnati first.

I'm sooooooooooooooooo excited...a few hours ago I found out I get to watch a brain surgery tomorrow morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am not so excited about waking up at 5am and being there at 6am BUT I am super excited about watching the surgery!

me too!

having so many medical connections here for shadowing experience is about the only reason I don't want to move. I just have sooo many connections here.
