I am so confused. This could be why I did sh*t on a chemistry test a few years ago. Tell me the order of electron shells. In my old notebook it goes ...3s, 3p, 4p, 5s... (these are notes my prof put online), in my old textbook it goes ...3s, 3p, 4s, 3d, 4p... #######??? I don't remember which is right. Obviously the book should be right but now I feel retarded and want to know why my prof told us differently. This really doesn't matter it's just something on a side project I'm working on with my nerds. I sent one of them an email but he hasn't replied yet and I'm

It's better than Bohr's model, it was only good for one electron. The d-block orbitals are a menace, especially the spins on the Co, Ni and Fe, those magnetic elements are a royal pain. The f-block (Actinides and Lanthanides) are worse still.

I am so happy I was just a bio major and not a biochemistry major. My friend and I started out as biochemistry and we got to general chemistry 2 and I decided neither of us had any chemistry skills. we both changed to bio majors the next day

5 - some of the responses to that thing I asked you about make me want to vomit. I totally get that people have different views on religion, but these people are insane. one person replied to me and I actually said "huh?" out loud. WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE?
