His daughter is still a really close friend. she lives outside of Anchorage and her bunch all ride a lot. Les was quite a character. Those are some rough and rugged horses. Have ridden across terrain that was not walkable, crossed rivers and tundra,

One memorable adventure was up on the North Slope and involved a river swim on a green-broke roman nosed dun leading 2 packhorses and an all day x-country ride to pack out a caribou. Will tell our kids about that one someday.

My hands are kinda frozen from being out in the warehouse. I had to go put stickers on the stuff out on eBay so the boss doesn't pull them again to list!
