I overslept and missed my flight. Now my flight doesn't leave for 3hrs and I won't get there til around 10pm. With traffic and what not I will arrive at my party just before the ball drops. I suck :lol:

I just can't believe I slept until 12:15!

We have to go to a 1/1/11 party with some of AAm's friends (nice people/retired). Anyways, I hope they don't mind if I don't really pay much attention to them, but instead just drink some beers and pray for a UofMichigan victory :lol:

A cavesson is actually a type of noseband - the generally straight noseband that you normally see that doesn't go in front of the bit is considered a cavesson. I used to ride my mare with a cavesson but she would open her mouth and the bit would slide in at the side. So, I put her first into a dropped noseband, but her nose was so short that it interfered with her breathing so I switched her to a figure 8 nose band along with a full cheek fulmer snaffle bit with keepers. That worked :) . She had a really nice soft mouth that was very responsive.

That noseband on Banner looks almost like it could be a hackamore style nose band as well - there appears to be a nob under his chin.He's certainly wearing the typical split ear Western headstall.
