Congrats!!! :) Thank you SOOOO much for posting the details about your interview! My husband has his Friday morning in Kingston and I will call and give him the details so he feels more confident, as well. We've been married for 9 months and are SOOO happy, but he's VERY shy and is nervous about the interview. Since Kingston no longer allows the petitioner to attend, he's on his own!!!

I am so ready to be finished with this process, can't wait to be with my husband everyday!!

I saw a few persons being told that they cannot be allowed even though they are the petitioners. Dont want to dampen your spirits but most persons got turned down because they were missing a document. I saw at least 3 persons got blue slips because they did not have the petitioner's employment letter. Another got turned down because they did not have the tax returns. Another person was given blue slip because they needed to interview his petitioner as well (strange because even if he brought his petitiner she would not be allowed inside). I tell you this, if you have all your documents together you'll feel more confident in your interview. I spent money printing pictures and photocopyning documents, getting phone records etc. They didn't ask me for any of these. However I am glad I got them because it made me feel a whole lot more confident and secure as if I am ready to conquer the interviewer. Later on I will do a list of all the documents I carried to the interview.

Please, please, please feel free to ask any questions pertaining to the interview. I want you all to be approved.

Sorry to say, but "No the petitioner is not allowed in". They have changed their policy and now will ONLY let the petitioner in if they blue slip you and request an interview with the petitioner. Even if you're (the petitioner) there waiting outside they will most likely not care and just request a new interview...they really don't care about the hardship it puts on you to make two trips...Just a Warning...
