I'm completing an AOS package and have 2 questions:

1) What exactly should go in "Current USCIS Status" on I-485? The applicant was admitted less than 90 days ago with a K1 visa and is now married to me.

2) How recent must be the I-134 Affidavit of Support? Specifically, can I simply resubmit the I-134 package of eight months ago used to get the visa?

Many thanks,

Dennis

This does not belong in the K-1 visa process forum... moving to the AOS forum, an entire forum dedicated to the AOS process...

YMMV

You should not be submitting an I-134 you should be submitting a I-864 for an AOS. Basically the same information but it is probably going to need to be updated with more recent financial data.

Your status is K1.

The I-864 is different to the I-134. You submit and I-864 with the AOS package. There is an AOS thread in my signature that should help you.

Thanks. One more question: The I-485 instructions say to include the I-94. Does that mean the original I-94 removed from the passport, or a photocopy?

just send a photocopy of the front&back of the i-94. They will remove the I-94 form from your pasaport when you go to your interview (if you'll have any)..

Agreed. NEVER send an original unless it specifically requests it... it will say "original I-94" etc if it needed to be the original.
