I filed my I-130 on April 13 and got an RFE on the October 1st. With my application, I made the mistake of sending only color copy of marriage certificate. Apparently, it is not legible enough to read (I could read it). So I got an RFE to send another copy of my marriage certificate. But this time, I sent both black/white and color copies of the same PDF file, which I used to print out my marriage certificate. And I got approved on the 25th. I just thought it is good idea to let everyone know--so you guys don't make the same mistake.

Scanned copies are known to lose quality. Even some high quality copy machines (like those at grocery stores) are not very good.

I did all of my color and black-and-white copying at Fedex Kinkos. Even though it was expensive, the color photocopies looked pretty like exact reproductions of the originals ! Someone in my family even asked if I had to send the originals, and I told them they were actually photocopies from Fedex Kinkos.

CR-1 Visa Was Approved :-)

Entry Date to USA: 2/3/2011

12-10-2012 - Sent off I-751 packet visa USPS

I751 Was approved - 10 Year GC was granted

N-400 Progress

4/10/2014: Package Mailed
4/11/2014: Package Received
4/14/2014: Notice Date
x/x/2014: Biometrics appointment
