But we should take your opinion as gospel from those two military people you supposedly talked to.

Type in "Best cuisines" and "most popular cuisine" in google or yahoo for charles, then come tell me who is right.

Versus:

Here are the ones that are at the top when people of United States were asked the post popular food joints

• 23% Wendy’s

• 12% Taco Bell

• 12% McDonald’s

• 11% Burger King

• 8% KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken)

• 3% Jack in the Box

• 3% Long John Silver’s

At least put five guys, Chipotle & Chik Fil'A.

What's jack in the box?

I cannot say I don't have a problem with individual opinions, considering the ####### some on here say. Hence why I ask, what is the persons experience on the matter.

When 4 out of 5 people who talk about Europe or brand other countries socialist have absolutely FA experience with it, then it's only natural to assume when someone else follows the same line of reasoning, it applies to them too. Same way you guys and I brand people liberals.

If you have genuinely lived in those countries, worked and interacted with people from their for four yours, well then your opinion is fair enough. Interacted means like your spouse or myself working in the US, that is what I am talking about. Not some work for a US company or the Military interaction.

It's also hard to keep track of genuine opinions when Gary bombards the board with rubbish.

Thank goodness he's so open minded and respects what others think.

No offense but there is a reason why I thought you were Eric for nearly a year. Get what I am saying? ;)

The World’s 50 Best Restaurant Awards 1-50 (2010)

USA made the Top 50 with 8 restaurants...

And only 2 in Australia. I guess there are only so many ways to cook kangaroo and sheep.

Interesting list. Anyone care to mention where - which region - the majority are located? Or should I get the satisfaction of saying it..

2 versus 8. Now factor in the population difference. You would have to have 28 in the top 50, to have the equivalent level.

oh and I am not doubting that there is some amazing food in other countries of the world but you can't just count a country out just because you think it is 3rd world or whatever and how could it possibly have good food...

Well yeah, considering there is usually a massive rich-poor disparity in most of them. You are certainly not going to find good quality food or produce from a poor street vendor. The quality of produce available in Canada, Europe or Australia is not going to be the same as that in Sudan, India, Haiti or China. They don't even have clean drinking water.

And none in the top 25. You FAIL again. It must kill you that Spain had so many in the top 10.
