Hi all VJs,

Can a "CONDITIONAL" green card holder sponsor her son here?Her USC spouse does not want to sponsor the stepchild.

Off topic: OK, I will ask the question everyone will want to know. Why doesn't the husband want to sponsor the step child? Is the mom thinking that the marriage will not last?

No. Only US Citizens may petition.

Green card holders are allowed to petition for their spouses and their children.
