G-325a Question

My foreign fiancee' is currently filling out his side of the G-325a question. There is a section asking for all residences in the past five years, and then another question underneath it asking for the last residence outside the U.S. Does he have to fill out the second question? If so, I assume that would be his last residence that he stayed at for over 1 year?

Also, he lived in another place prior to the five years asked for on the form, but it asks for starting and ending month of residence. What should we do if he cannot find out exactly when they moved to the current residence?

Thanks in advance,

- Barbara and Harry

I did not see a side for the fiancee to fill out. I filled out all the information based on me and they accepted it right a way. Hope you get some other opinions.

7. G-325A (all four pages) filled out by the US Citizen signed and dated (see example)

9. G-325A (all four pages) filled out by the foreign fiance(e) signed and dated (see example)

This is what I'm going off of. It says there needs to be a G-325A form for both of us.

Oh yay, more questions (I hope these don't get missed along the way)...

My fiancee' has a very long middle name that doesn't fit in the box. Often times, they just use the first part of it. It is Adolphus Henricus, is it okay to just use Adolphus and not the entire name, or should he hand-print in the full middle name?

On MY version of the form...

I have only been working for three years now, and was a student prior to that. Does student count as unemployeed? How would you list if you were a student up to a certain point?

Once you have listed residences for the past 5 years, you then need to answer the question of the last residence lived at for more than a year outside the US. This address can be one of the ones already listed or other, no matter how long ago that was. If you cant remember exact dates give an approx. Just make sure that when you complete forms later on down the track that they contain same info.

You can put 'student' in employment section.

It is also on the I-129F instructions.

8. What Other Documents Do You Need?

Submit a completed and signed Form G-325A(Biographic Information) for you and a completed andsigned Form G-325A for your fiancé(e).

Thanks for all the help so far. We've managed to get most of the form filled out. I still do have the remaining question of what to do for being a student? I was guessing that we should do 'Unemployed' for employer and occupation as 'Student'. Does that sound right or is there another way of going about putting student down. I just don't want to give the wrong impression because... being unemployed and being a student are different things.

If you´re a student and doesn´t work, then just put unnemployed, since studying is not the same as working.
