All reciept number starts with MSC-XXX ,

Where do i check the processing dates for MSC

Back in March of this year I mailed my AOS application to the Chicago lockbox and my receipt number also started with MSC. I am not sure where you can check the processing dates for this service center, but I relied on the processing dates for my district office, which is the local office nearest to you. Good luck in your process!!!

You would look at the USCIS National Benefits Center which is located in Missouri for the EAD and AP. Look at your local office for the AOS processing dates.

NOA number with MSC-XXX-XXXX

You can check online the status of your case here:

However I wouldn't rely on it too much to actually be informative. For example, for me it indicates my case hasn't been looked at since July 7th, however since then I have recieved both Biometrics and AOS interview letters in the mail, with no updates or emails from the website.

Its a good idea to sign up, but I wouldn't waste any time obsessively checking it like I did for a month after I submitted AOS.

I have a related question:

My number starts with MSC as well (naturally), but a few months ago, I received an e-mail telling me that "on June 8,your I-485 application......was received here for processing "

(I had originally filed mid-March and had already received confirmation for that earlier).

I always assumed that the e-mail meant that the case was transferred to the CSC like many others were, but I am now wondering, would they have changed the number to something starting with "CSC" or would they continue using the original MSC-number...?

Since they never specified where exactly the "here" was supposed to be, I am now a bit confused as to where my file currently is being processed and where I am supposed to look for processing times....
