Hi, does anyone know when the 129 form was updated to include the IMBRA questions? I was looking at the petition I mailed and there were questions about marriage brokers and petitioners' criminal history. I am hoping I used the updated form so as not to receive RFE but if I understand this IMBRA law correctly we will all be impacted because of the backlog of cases. Do I understand this correctly?

February 17, 2010 RFE Email.

February 22, 2010 Biometric Letter Received.

March 03, 2010 Biometric done.

March 13, 2010 Yellow Letter Received.

March 23, 2010 Email ( case transferred to local office for interview.

March 25, 2010 Interview Letter Arrived.

April 29, 2010 Interview (Rescheduled)

May 24, 2010 Interview (Passed)

June 17, 2010 Oath Letter Received

July 14, 2010 Oath Date ...........

July 14, 2010 DONE

If the form included the questions about marriage brokers and crimes, you sent the updated version. And, yes, you may have to wait a bit longer than usual because of the backlog.

I only offer advice - not even legal. Just the plain and simple kind.

If you submitted the form that contained the marriage broker and petitioners' criminal history questions, then you submitted the new form.
