I think being on this site I do understand, and therefore I respect that there are how many other thousands of people ahead of me in the process who feel the exact same way missing the one they love and that it would be selfish to try push ahead because I seem to think my relationship is somehow more important than theirs.

Hey Ning mong,

Like every other half decent person on here fighting to spend their lives with the person they love my wife and I are attempting a route suggested by some and condemned by others, you are part of the others, it seems to me your attitude stinks and I figure this is due to your low Intelligence Quotient.

As you may not be aware because of your pea for a brain, you know me not and there for you have no idea if we will be accepted or not as the case may be.... I suggest you find yourself a better education sometime soon, I hear they refuse stupid people like you too.

I think you are self evident & as you say half decent. Its the other half that escapes you. That along with reality. I do have more than an idea that you wont be accepted. I have experiance, intelligence, knowledge & a green card. All of that is what you lack.

You simply dont know what you are talking about or who you are talking to. You can stamp your little feet, hold your breath, but you wont get what you dont deserve & dont understand.

I also have heard of a case being expedited where the beneficiary lived in a war zone. But yeah, those are the only cases I have heard being approved. Military deployment and the SO living in a war torn country. Even pregnancy can't expedite a petition.

I have not come across the war torn country, I do frequent immigrate2us.net and I would have thought Mexico would have qualified.

If you have a reasonable case, I would try. The downside is that if you are refused is seems to slightly delay matters.

Thats not strictly true, Ive read of cases - i believe on here where pregnancy was a factor. Granted i dont think it was a stright forward pregnancy though.

However, Im of the opinion that if you feel you personally qualify for an expedite, go for it - providing you can get the relevant info and docs pertaining to the request.

Personally I had to, and will have to do so again at NVC level - do i wish circumstances were different and we had a normal wait? Of course I do, but its not the way it is right now.

Besides, if the adjudicating officer(s) dont agree with the service request. You've tried, and failed. Simple as really.

Not happy with some of the rude comments on here about my case. As it happens, there are other factors in our case that do qualify us for it. I am sorry if people are offended or jealous about it. We all have had to wait a long time being apart from our loved ones. Cruel comments are not the answers.

+1000! Very good thinking to have during this process.

That's correct.

Usually, those pregnancies that get expedited are high-risk pregnancies. The patient may have other comorbidities, such as hypertension or diabetes. In such cases, the patient (beneficiary) may request that her case be expedited. Her reason would be the fact that her condition cannot be adequately and properly treated in the country she is residing. And that prenatal and perinatal care in the U.S. would be more beneficial to the unborn baby.

Correct, Boiler. When we put in the service request my wife was given a list of the options and allowed 3 in order of urgency, which we did, provided the relevant docs, via email, fax and fed ex.

I can only suggest, if you feel you have a genuine case, it pays to be 'pro-active'.

I guess though, even if you dont and just want a shot at it, you're paying the filing fee, and are entitled to put in a request though. In some cases it may not be ethically correct, but there is no law against doing so.

Good luck. You'll always get indifferent comments wherever you go, dont let it bother you. As stated, if you feel you have a chance, go for it and be proactive about it.

You've paid your fees, so have an input into how you go about dealing with your case. Thats no-one elses business. Hope all goes well for you.
