Expedited from NVC New Hampshire

Hell all and everyone,

I was told today on the phone by an agent at the New Hampshire NVC that last Friday my visa petition has been expedited to London, the reason for this is my wife requested help from her senator and to our shock and elated surprise her senator made the effort and requested an expedition on our petition.

My question is, how good a piece of news is this, I understand it still requires them to consider it a valid expedition and then they will contact New Hampshire NVC to tell them if or not it has been accepted but does this mean my petition is now due for an interview date shortly and if so, how long.

The lady told me they normally get an answer from the London Embassy in around two days so that would mean I will get an answer this week if the expedition was successful, but any ideas how long it is normally for an interview after this?

I hope I make sense.

Thank you for any help.
