Hi VJ people I am writing for some assisstance. I am waiting for my K1 visa and just thought about the I134 form.

My fiance and her mum are sponsoring me as my fiance has just finished uni so doesnt have the needed amounts made over the past

3 years but is now in a job that pays her well above the minimum but only started that in May! So would my fiance fill out one I134 and then

her mum fill out another?

Thanks for the help

If your fiancee's current income is sufficient, then a cosponsor wouldn't be required. Document the current income with the following:

- Letter from employer - include: Start date, annual salary (or hourly rate), Full time or part time, permanent or temporary, her job title, and the title of the person writing the letter

- Paystubs Do the math for them - If salary, then do whatever multiplication to show annual salary. If variable - ie sales etc, show a variety of pay stubs and do the same calculation on an average number.

I think I might have also provided a copy of my university documents showing recent graduation to account for short earnings on taxes.

If you still want to have a cosponsor packet waiting in the wings, for the mother, she would just fill out a complete I-134 packet on her own with her own income and household size etc. This would be in addition to what your fiancee will fill out with her current annualized income shown.

Six months in a well-paying job: plenty good enough. Have the mother fill out a form too to give you peace of mind. No need to actually produce it at the Embassy unless they say your fiancee's I-134 isn't good enough.
