I laughed when Pelosi said that back then. She was a gung ho Socialist with programs she wanted in place and any program the Feds take on will cost big time. It is no surprise that when the Socialists took both houses that the deficit was going to soar but also getting Obama the Socialist in and having all the reigns of government has shown everyone how big of morons the Socialist really are. They don't care that it is OUR taxes that are paying for everything because it is the future that will be paying for this and they will be gone.

I have heard it called that but how about we all pay as we go. When we open our paychecks and see the huge amount taken out in taxes and the big increase in any product we buy as corporations pass on their tax bite then we can all decide if this progress is really what we want after all. Passing off onto the future all this progress makes the programs seem easy and at little cost.

The claim is that she vowed "no new deficit spending". The suggestion in light of the 5 trillion dollars that have since been added to the debt is that Nancy has, contrary that particular committment, since gone on a 5 trillion dollar spending spree. Of course, that's nonsense but it makes for such a good headline for those that stood in the back of the line when the creator distributed brains.
