HI a K3 filer but fall into CR1

Hello,

just want some info, actually am in a K3 visa filer, since the K3 will be consider a dead visa once our I 130 will be approved we will proceed to CR1.. up to now we still didnt received our NOA2 of both I130 and I129F but our I130 NOA1 dated May 6, i saw some of the member wid a date of May NOA1 already been approved so i guess mine will be next,,, is it possible the delay of our NOA2 in I130 is bcoz of the I129F? how long does it take to process the CR1? pls give some info tnx:-)

On petition will not slow down the other.

its a good possibility that you will be going CR1 route. its actually a pretty quick process if you have everything prepared and ready to go

DS230 and I864 with all supporting documents

Plus in the long run it will cost you less for the CR1 than the K3

Yes it is possible the I-129F slowed down the I-130. When we filed, those who also filed an I-129F were approved 6-8 weeks after those with stand-alone I-130s.

Now, did this happen to you? Who knows. However, it has happened in the past

Waited...

September 29, 2015 - sent letter to senator.

October 16, 2015 - US Citizen
