First of all congratulations to all the approved K-3 visas, it is so good to hear things are moving. I also know not everyone has had good news yet and I really hope you do soon.

I have been very lucky and my K-3 application was approved and the Montreal embassy has already sent Package 3 to my wife. Now I have a few q's about the affidavit of support I-134:

1) In Q-10 it asks if I have submitted visa petitions to the Bureau of CIS/USCIS. Do I put down both the 130 and 129F application?

2) In Q-11 about intention. Is the K-3 application also marked N/A here like it is for a K-1 visa?

3) I was working in the UK for the last 2 yrs and have no current tax returns. I have only just filed for these now that I am in the states and found out I was required to. I am currently working above the poverty guidelines. Is a letter from your employer enough for the k-3 visa? ( i have savings and stocks also)

I look forward to hearing your replies and good luck to all

1) I didnt do K-3 myself but I assume as it is asking for petition/s that you would list both the I-130 and the I-129F.

2) You can put same yes. N/A (K-3 visa process)

3)The I-134 is only one thing that a conof may use to determine if an applicant will or wont become a public charge. Hence why in many cases more is required then instructed with the I-134. Have a read of the I-134 thread, pinned in the Foreign Embassy Forum (click HERE.
