Hello every one I just wanna ask bout A/m subject asI'm cr1 I filed I130 on 18 march and my case has been approved on 20 July than it transfer to NVC on 20 august and on 16 September they sent to cheek list an they need a copy of my passport.they received this copy on 22 September. and my case completed on 12octoberbut when I called the NVC they told me that there is no free date at THE Embassy in Cairo and i must wait for the new update at 15 of every month to answer to me which mean more than a month is that normal and I must wait every 15 of month.

NVC will consistently say that they will schedule interviews in the first 2 weeks of the month. Now, that doesn't always happen, as in our case we were scheduled for an interview at the end of March.

Just be happy you are not dealing with Montreal, there is a 3-5 month wait for an interview.
