Jandk you are not here to see what is going on. You seem to only side with the pinay....

I got some final advice from my mom and dad. They agree that I should send her a s s back to the jungle. Ill shopping online and try to get her a s s on the next plane out. F this, I might be better off as single.

Of course I am not. BUT to see how your handling this situation with us on VJ, with this girl isnt the right way of handling it. Sounds almost like now you have your family against her and thinking she is just some puppet with the whole "I will send you back to the jungle if you dont mind me attitude" doesnt fly.

Siding with pinay? really? pinay, white, black, chinese.. NO matter the race or culture we are all human and want to be treated like one. I dont think you deserve to be with a filipino, because you expect them to understand at first everything that we have known growing up. Do her a favor and send her back if your going to be one sided in the relationship.

Now for sending her family money I read the email, her bro in law want to open a business of his own, a gym. Her sister wants to open a restaurant, her uncle is asking for money so he can finish off the flooring at his house. Her elder brother wants to enroll his kids in private school, her younger sister got sick and went straight to a high end private hospital. I read just a incoming text message that her mom is TULALA AT THE WALL BECAUSE SHE IS OUT OF COFFEE.

I TRIED TO CLARIFY ABOUT THE MONEY SITUATION. HER BELIEF IN MONEY IS WHAT I EARN BELONGS TO THE BOTH OF US WHAT SHE EARNS ONLY BELONGS TO HER. IT'S ONE SIDED.

WHEN I TRY TO TALK IT OVER SHE WOULD SAY SHE DOES NOT WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT. I EVEN OVERHEARD HER ON THE PHONE SAY "YAN PESTENG KANO NA YAN"

Sounds like the family thinks they won the lotto with marrying her off to an American. Everyone wants a hand in your cookie jar

$681 is all that it would cost to make your troubles go away. 1 way flight back to PI from LAS.

I think that is the best thing to do. If things aren't working out and you have tried to talk to her and she is acting like a teedee baby, send her back home. Why wait until someone gets hurt physically, emotionally, mentally.

Teach her a lesson that everything is not only about her, the money, the "wants" of her family that she thinks should be met because she is the US and earning money is just like eating a piece of cake.

I believe that she is trying to live up the expectations of her family back home, friends, neighbor that " I'm here in the United States, I should be able to do this, do that, provide this and that" which I'm afraid will soon become a norm in the filipino acts once stepped in the land of Milk and honey.

If Rose refuse to listen then there is no more communication in your relationship. You also said she already address you as "p-st ...kano na yan"

She is using filthy language in addressing to you only because she could not give pleasure to her family ,really no more respect. If theres no more love and respect for each other better dont marry, and also your parents dont like it, so you dont have blessing from your parents also,it will be too hard.

IF you want to give Rose a chance because you love her then go on with your relationship. But if you are both are becoming hateful because of this

relationship then better stop now and never really marry each other. We will be praying for both of you.Its about time to open bible the manual of life.

  This is (perhaps) the most decisive relationship ending act I've witnessed on VJ. WELL DONE!

In 5 hours you went from....I think I'm done to...I bought the ticket and she's GONE!! (well...tomorrow)

I just wonder how the rest of your evening and night is going to play out...? Wonder how much sleep your going to get?

BTW...just an off the cuff observation...I don't think trying to get, your bride to be, to "MIND" you is the best strategy. Maybe give that 1 a little more thought before trying to employ it next time..?

oh..and ..the chair flying thing...maybe not such a good idea either...but all in all....

BRAVO!!!!

i would say do not decide when your angry, Wait till you've cooled down before having important conversations. Anger's "Siamese twin" is regret.IF you are talking to her in an angry voice

Don't expect her to respond well. People are often terrified of even healthy expressions of anger.Don't take any action you might regret later. This is a real danger when you're experiencing a strong emotion of any kind. Wait till the worst has passed - and it always does - before making important decisions.

Yeah, good job!

I'd even go as far as getting out of the house tonight! Pack her things and put her up in a motel for the night in her name. She might go ape sheet and cut up some furniture or something. $50 for the night is better than having to replace couches, car paint, etc. I've seen the aftermath of a messy breakup. But you can always remind her that you will file police reports if anything happens, she will be denied entry if she tries anything.

Wow! Its sad to read this post! :( All the issues you have brought up should have been discussed prior to asking her to marry you! As a pinoy you should know that "family" is always at the heart of every Filipino! I'm sure that being raised here in the States you have seen its not always a strong point in our culture! Since you are pinoy... I would hope that patience and understanding would have gone a long way to hopefully resolving your issues with your fiancee. When you met your fiancee did you not talk to her father and family?

I don't know you Jason, but i can definitely relate to your issues. Having the benefit of hindsight and life experiences... you definitely have made a good decision if you can't trust your significant other when it comes to finances! I think your idea of marriage may be a little skewed though. Marriage is a partnership that is made with promises and compromises. You have to understand your partner and the only way to really do that is to talk. I'm not sure if you speak Tagalog but if you had a hard time talking to your ex then that may have been part of the problem. Just reading this post it sounds like you never really got to know your fiancee. You have the right to send her packing since you don't trust her...better to end the relationship... than end up hating each other later. Hopefully you both will learn from the experience and come out better in the end. God Bless!
