Hi there. Congratulations on getting married. :)

Here is the guide from adjusting from K1 and K3 (they are together in one page, just pay attention to the requirements that only apply to K1 visa holders): http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1k3aos I suggest you read it muna and if you have specific questions about the forms or supporting documents, post them here :)

Published processing times for adjustment of status is 5 months on the average. EAD and AP are normally approved well before that; if you have proof of a job offer, you can request for it to be expedited anytime after you have biometrics taken; if you have a planned trip outside the U.S., they can expedite AP also (I believe on the I-131 form you have to tell them when the trip is).

Oh I am filing along with my son... he is my derivative so that is the payment of $ 600 is for. If you are filing alone without any K2's the paymetn is $ 1,010.00 before Nov 23, 2010. After that a new schedule of payment should be followed, check USCIS website for the updated fees after Nov 23, 2010.

Hi, everybody!

I have 3 short questions about AOS. Note: I entered the US legally on K-1 VISA!

1. Does my husband have to file i-130 for me now, if for my k-1 he filed i-129f and it was approved? I am already in the US.

2. Do I need to submit a CERTIFIED copy of my marriage certificate, or just a plain copy?

3. Do I need to submit a COPY or the ORIGINAL of my vaccination certificate?

Thank you so much!
